- BIOGRAPHY

I have pleasurable memories of my very young childhood during the late 60’s living in Christchurch and visiting my Grandparents on their farm in Hari- Hari over on the West Coast. Every time we visited, the boundaries that I was accustomed to would suddenly drop away. I loved being able to explore what seemed to me to be whole different worlds, but in reality were simply the dog kennels, the shearing shed, the plank across the creek and the woods across the road. I remember in detail those places, they felt full of beauty. My photography now has allowed me to go back to that time. I feel the same excitement and freedom exploring not only the world that I’ve come to know but also the world that is still new, as it was when I was a kid.
